Gradi, Inc. Q4 2023 + January Updates and Roadmap for 2024: Investor Update

Hello Everyone, Happy 2024!

We have a lot of exciting news to share.

I'd like to start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year! For those of you who attended our investor group meeting on September 5th, 2023, it was great to see everyone. We were glad to have the opportunity to come together and discuss the company's goals and direction. To avoid confusion, please note that we did not post an investor update for Q3 2023, as we all met in person, with a virtual participation option also available. We understand that not everyone was able to attend, so we will ensure to record future meetings. Additionally, this update will serve as an update for both Q4 2023 and January 2024. Since the meeting, we have been diligently working to turn our visions into reality. 

2023 Q4 + January 2024 Progress:

We have found a CTO, Bharath, who has officially joined the company this week! Who is Bharath? Bharath's professional experience includes roles at Apple and Uber as a Senior Mobile Developer and JP Morgan Chase as a Lead Engineer working on Zelle payments. He holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and resides in Dallas, Texas! He will be leading the software development side of Gradi.

• Hired a new engineer, Daniyal, who is now working remotely under Bharath's management. He is charging the company 80% less than our previous engineer and brings more experience to the table! Daniyal is currently being paid by the project, in phases.

• Approved to run Google Ads on the Gradi iOS consumer app!

• Implemented Google Ads on the Gradi iOS consumer app, which are now live (Limited visibility until Google has fully analyzed our traffic) Click here to check for the update 

• Raised $35,000 in a new fundraising round

• Complete database and repository backup

• All-Time Menu Visits: 802,000 (25%+ Growth)

• I, Zachary Dowthitt, have also taken many steps to strengthen my skills as CEO of Gradi, Inc., (a technology/software company). These are just a few of the things I've learned over the past few months:

  • Achieved a Scrum Certification, which covered key areas like sprint planning/management, product backlog refinement/prioritization, road mapping, and other essential product management-related workflows. At the end of the class, students were put into groups and instructed to create a pitch for presentation. I was chosen as the team lead and led our team to victory!

  • Agile Development

  • Experience using the latest and greatest DevOps and project management tools such as Azure Boards, Jira, Trello, etc.

  • Remote Team Management

  • AWS Cloud Architecture (Still learning)

Goals for 2024:

• Launch Gradi Consumer App for Android

• Implement Google Ads on Gradi Consumer App for Android

• Introduce consumer profiles which will allow users to take and upload pictures of their menu item(s) to both of the Gradi Consumer Apps (iOS & Android)

• Begin paying users for the content (menu item photos) that they contribute

• Scale Gradi Consumer App to users all across Texas (No QR Code Menus Needed)

• Get a new (smaller office)

• Increase Revenue & Profitability

To each of you who have invested, your convertible note was converted into equity on January 30th, 2024, thus granting you stock (shares) in the company. More information regarding this will be sent out soon.
