UI/UX Designer - Product Design Lead
Position Overview:Gradi is looking for a skilled and hands-on UI/UX Designer to join us as a Product Design Lead. You’ll be at the forefront of our design efforts, leading initiatives that shape our product’s visual identity and functionality. This role requires a unique blend of UI and UX expertise, an eye for design detail, and a focus on outcome-driven results. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will bring innovative ideas to life and help create seamless, delightful user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Design Initiatives: Own the design process from ideation to execution, creating intuitive and cohesive user experiences aligned with Gradi’s product vision.
Outcome-Driven Focus:Â Prioritize outcome over output, ensuring designs are impactful, user-centered, and measurable in terms of value added to the user experience.
UI/UX Design:Â Develop and refine the visual identity, including design schema, color theory, typography, and branding, to create a consistent and engaging look and feel.
Collaboration with Product Team:Â Translate user stories into effective design solutions, work with product managers, and provide clear, actionable guidance for the engineering team on design requirements and implementations.
User Testing & Iteration:Â Conduct user acceptance testing to validate designs and continuously improve based on real-world feedback.
Adaptability:Â Embrace a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines, and adapt designs as requirements evolve.
Required Skills:
Design Tools Expertise:Â Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq, InVision, Proto.io, and Miro.
Strong Design Foundation:Â Excellent understanding of color theory, typography, and creating a cohesive design identity.
Communication & Problem-Solving:Â Ability to clearly explain design decisions, address implementation challenges, and make adjustments based on feedback.
Product Management Understanding:Â Familiarity with user stories, outcome-focused design, and UAT processes to align closely with product goals.
